Attended Louisiana Polytechnic Institute (now Louisiana Polytechnic University) in the fall of 1956 through the fall of 1959, then McNeese State College (now McNeese State University) for the fall of 1959, then
Southern Methodist University from January, 1960 through August 1962, laying out the summer and fall of 1961 to work to pay school fees. University of Texas at Austin to get my teacher credential which I obtained in January, 1966. Taught Jr. High in Austin for 2 and 1/2 years then went to work in a Desegragation program in the Extension Division at the U. of T. at Austin for another 1 and 1/2 years. Went to Califoirnia to California State
University, Rohnert Park and did graduate work in Humanistic Psychology, which gradually fizzeled out in 1973, and went to work for a swimming pool contractor before deciding to go to Florida to open the Promethean Center in Sarasota, Fl. teaching Transactional Analysis to adults, students, and groups. Began counseling individuals and realized I needed more education, and went to Florida State University in Tallahassee from September, 1975 to March, 1977. Got married to Laura Marie Nelson in April, 1975 until November, 2004. Worked a lot of different places as a Social Worker, both licensed and unlicensed, as both an adminiustrator and a therapist and retired in August, 2007.
